Computing in the Library

 

Library users have access to computers via the library’s computer labs located in all libraries.  The computer labs allow students and faculty members to:

 

• Access resources on the World Wide Web;

• Search the UOB catalogue and full-text databases;

• Access lecturers’ notes, assignments and distance learning programmes;

• Use word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database programmes.

 

There are dedicated PAC workstations providing access to the library’s catalogue, in Sakhir Campus and Isa Town campuses.

 

Students may reserve a workplace with advanced booking for a period of one hour.

 

From the computer lab students can print documents in the Copy Centre.   The labs follow the opening hours of the library
